The event will mark the launching of RNW’s international multimedia platform on microfinance, that will not only involve experts and practitioners in a critical debate, but also a wider, international audience. Issues at stake range from interest payments to fair pricing, from economic benefits to social empowerment, from supporting individuals to shared responsibilities, from creating access to finance to building sustainable Microfinance Institutions, from lending to boosting financial literacy.

HRH Princess Máxima of the Netherlands will address the meeting and Mr Bert Koenders, The Netherlands Minister for Development Cooperation, will give the keynote speech.
