The seminar, titled 'Governance in Microfinance - The Needs and Challenges of Developing Micro Pensions', was hosted by the Netherlands Central Bank, and focused on the aspect of governance in the microfinance sector. The participants discussed the value of trust when instigating micro pension schemes, the need for transparency, the use and need for (government) regulation and lessons to be drawn from the credit crisis.
