Projects of the Pension & Development Network
Although micro pensions are a rather new form of micro-finance provisions, there are already several countries worldwide where Micro Finance Institutions have implemented micro pension projects. Below you will find a list of organizations that the Pension & Development Network is cooperating with in order design, develop and implement savings and micro pension schemes.
Bangladesh: BRAC
The P&D Network is assisting BRAC with the development of a ‘real’ pension product.
India: Development of Humane Action (DHAN)Foundation
Together with the P&D Network and HelpAge India, the DHAN Foundation is setting up a micro pension pilot project.
Kenya: Pamoja Women Development Programme (PAWDEP)
Together with the P&D Network, PAWDEP is realizing the first of its kind pension scheme in Kenya.
Nepal: Selfhelp Group for Cerebral Palsey (SGCP)
SGCP contacted the P&D Network in order to develop a structure for providing old-age security to SGCP employees
Philippines: RIMANSI
Together with the Pension & Development Network, RIMANSI will develop and implement a micro-pension product for people working in the informal sector in the Philippines.Stay in touch with us
