Projects of the Pension & Development Network
Although micro pensions are a rather new form of micro-finance provisions, there are already several countries worldwide where Micro Finance Institutions have implemented micro pension projects. Below you will find a list of organizations that the Pension & Development Network is cooperating with in order design, develop and implement savings and micro pension schemes.
The P&D Network will provide technical support to REDCAMIF, a network of MFIs in Central America, which is piloting a micro pension project in Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
The P&D Network and the Micro Insurance Association Netherlands (MIAN) assisted the Georgian MFI Crystal in the development and implementation of a micro-insurance product.
Together with the P&D Network and HelpAge India, the DHAN Foundation is setting up a micro pension pilot project.
Shepherd contacted the P&D Network to evaluate their existing micro pension model.
The P&D Network assisted the Mongolian MFI XacBank with the development of a micro pension provision in Mongolia.
