Report on the P&D Network seminar 'Governance in Micro Finance'

6-Jan-2010    On September 29th 2009, the Pension & Development Network organized a seminar on the theme 'Governance in Micro Finance – The Needs and Challenges of Developing Micro Pensions’.

The discussion during the seminar focused on the need for governance within the financial sector in general, and the micro finance sector in particular, and also focused on what kind of governance is needed: people's governance or professional management? This report gives a detailed account of the outcome of the seminar.
